Discover Tanzania like TV host Floortje Dessing
First episode of “Floortje To The End Of The World” (Floortje Naar Het Einde Van De Wereld), a well-know Dutch TV show about people who live in the world’s outskirts.
In June 2014, Explore Tanzania organized Floortje Dessing’s trip to Tanzania.
A report of this trip was broadcasted on 1 January 2015 on NPO1. This broadcast was the first episode of a series of broadcasts from “Floortje To The End Of The World.”

Floortje Dessing was in Tanzania for a meeting with an Argentinian family (Zapp family) who has been traveling the world in an old-timer for 14 years. The couple, Herman and Cande Zapp, have had four children in the meantime: Pampa, Tehue, Wallaby and Paloma. During the trip in Tanzania, Floortje Dessing travelled with cameraman Joost Hoozemans to take a look into their lives. An inspiring family with a special story.
The family stayed with Floortje Dessing in the Green Camp of Explore Tanzania in Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Park. Explore Tanzania was there and arranged all the locations and properties where Floortje Dessing and the family stayed.
Floortje Dessing was wildly enthusiastic about her stay in Tanzania. In a short video response, she reports on her experiences in the Green Camp of Explore Tanzania: “… It’s a fantastic story in a great setting. This morning at a quarter past six there were six elephants in front of our tent, where else on earth do you experience this?”
