Pangani
You will be picked up at the airport of Dar es Salaam by our driver, who will take you to Pangani.
Pangani – a historic place with a very relaxed atmosphere – has beautiful and quiet beaches full of palm trees and turtles. But also a river, mangrove forests and sand banks and beautiful coral reefs a little off the coast.
Optional activities are: city tour, cycling, diving and snorkeling.
Zanzibar Island
Today you will be picked up by our driver and sail from the port of Dar es Salaam by boat to Zanzibar Island.
Zanzibar – a pearl in the Indian Ocean with a rich Swahili culture – is characterized by quiet fishing villages, snow-white paradise beaches and friendly residents.
Optional activities are e.g: Sandbar BBQ, spice tour, cycling, sailing, scuba diving and a visit to bustling Stone Town.
Mafia Island
To get to Mafia Island you fly today with a cessna. From the air you can see beautifully that the Mafia Archipelago consists of several small islands, atolls and sandbars.
Tourism on the green Mafia Island is still in its infancy. Most inhabitants live from the sea and the land. Mafia Island has beautiful white sandy beaches and is a dream location for divers because of the beautiful coral reefs with many fish species.
Optional activities are: diving, snorkeling, sailing, walking and swimming with whale sharks.
Departure
Today you will be picked up at your accommodation and taken to Mafia airport for the connecting flight back to your home destination.
Do you want to see and experience even more? Then it is of course possible to extend this cycling safari, for example with a hiking – and / or jeep safari in the Serengeti or one of the other beautiful national parks on the mainland of Tanzania.
If not, you fly in the evening from Mafia via Dar es Salaam back to your home destination where you arrive the next morning.
