Chanya Lodge is located on the outskirts of Moshi town, at the foot of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro.

Chanya lodge is known for its lush gardens with green grass carpet, the multi-cuisine restaurant and the large swimming pool.

“Chanya” in kiswahili means “positive”. At Chanya Lodge they try to create a positive impact with you as a guest, the neighboring communities and the environment.

The property

The 32 cozy and rustically furnished rooms at Chanya Lodge have an en-suite bathroom and a veranda with a beautiful view.

The restaurant at Chanya Lodge serves a la carte menus as well as set menus and sometimes buffets. All dietary requirements are met.

The majority of Chanya Lodge staff were born and raised in Tanzania, some of whom come from extremely underprivileged backgrounds. Through the work they can support themselves and others.
Buying preferably local products; from groceries to soaps and furniture.

In addition, every guest staying at Chanya Lodge contributes to the care of children with special needs in the Kilimanjaro region.
