Chumbe island is located a few kilometers off the coast of Stone Town.
You sail from the coast of Zanzibar to Chumbe island in about forty-five minutes.

The island is a private nature reserve in one of the best and most beautiful shallow coral reefs in the world, and has a wonderful forest with animals threatened with extinction.
The reefs consist of around 200 different types of coral and house around 370 different types of fish and lobsters, turtles and dolphins.

Chumbe Island Coral Park is attractively designed and completely sustainable.

The seven eco-bungalows of Chumbe Island Coral Park, in African style, are partly open and have a sea view.

You dine in the open air with views of the Indian Ocean in the afternoon, and under the palm trees and stars in the evening.
The good chefs prepare delicious dishes that are a mix of Zanzibar, Arabic, Indian and African cuisine.
