Kijani Beach Villas is a small-scale luxury boutique hotel with lots of privacy, right on the beautiful sandy beach of quiet Bwejuu.
Only 5 minutes away from lively Paje.

Each of the villas has a unique view.
From your bed you watch the sun rise over the azure blue Indian Ocean.

The Dutch owners José and Maarten will do everything they can
to provide you with a wonderful and relaxed stay.

The property

The four villas, in an ‘Africa meets Ibiza’ style, are all located directly on the beach and have 2 or 3 bedrooms, a terrace on the ground floor and a spacious terrace on the first floor with a plunge pool.

Breakfast can be served on your own terrace or in the stylishly decorated restaurant by the pool.

New to Kijani Beach Villas is the sea view villa Maua in Arab-African style, not on the beach but on a rock behind it and with great views over the ocean. With on the ground floor a family room with bathroom and living room and upstairs 2 double rooms with ensuite bathroom and plunge pool on the terrace.

Please note 1: minimum stay in high season is 4 nights.
Please note 2: the final price for the accommodation will depend on the season and currency fluctuations. And is exclusive of additional costs such as transport, entrance fees to the parks, etc.

Environmentally aware

Owners José and Maarten have always been aware of the challenges Zanzibar faces.
For that reason, Kijani Beach Villas has:

A waste processing system (septic tank) based on permaculture.
Reuses the waste water to water the garden.
Makes raw food waste into compost for the garden.
Works for other waste together with Zanrec, a waste recycling company.
Supports the Permaculture Design Institute in its goal of teaching residents and foreigners the principles of permaculture.
And requests you as a guest to handle resources with care; such as the air conditioning, clean towels and waste separation.
In addition, the restaurant serves small and large portions of all dishes for everyone’s taste, large or small, in order to prevent food waste.
