At 1600m in the mountains of the Usambara Mountains, Mullers Mountain Lodge was originally built in 1930 as a colonial farmhouse.

The property

The simple but comfortable rooms are located in both the main building and the associated bungalows. The nights in this area are fresh, the bedding wonderfully warm.

Dinner at Mullers Mountain Lodge is good, with plenty of fresh vegetables and herbs from their own garden. There is a decent choice of fine wines.
