About Pemba Eco Lodge

Pemba Eco Lodge is located on a snow-white beach in a bay of the azure blue Indian Ocean, on the remote island of Shamiani. The island is only accessible by boat from Pemba Island.

Pemba Eco Lodge is the perfect base for a peaceful and sustainable stay that also benefits the local environment and culture. There is a shipwreck off the coast to dive for.

An eco paradise for nature lovers and lovers of very remote places.

The accommodation

The six bungalows of Pemba Eco Lodge are spacious and bright, made from local materials and overlook the tropical garden and the sea. The furniture is made by hand from recycled Dhow boats.

The chef is a fantastic cook and works with freshly caught fish, seafood and local organic produce every day. The staff is very attentive and caring.
