Walking and hiking in the mountains

Tanzania is interspersed with ancient mountain ranges, sometimes rough but always in beautiful scenery and rich culture.
This is both a great challenge and a wonderful adventure.

How about climbing Africa’s highest free-standing mountain, the Kilimanjaro (5.896m Uhuru Peak). Or Mount Meru (4.566m) in Arusha National Park or perhaps the Ol’Doinyo Lengai vulcano (2.878m) in the Ngorongoro area, near lake natron.
But also the Udzungwa Mountains (2.579m Luhombero Peak), with its forests, waterfalls and many birds, the green Usambara Mountains (2.440m nabij Lushoto) or the Mahale Mountains (2.462m Mount Mkungwe), the chimpanzee area, you can make extraordinary hikes (with guide).
